Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA

  • The Bachelor of Public Health (BPH) is an independent educational program in the field of PUBLIC HEALTH.
  • It represents a preparation for the main level of this education, resp. MPH.
  • This first-level course provides an introduction to public health, interactive immersion in current health care issues, verification of the level of knowledge in the field of public health, as well as comprehensive preparation for study 2. degree of this training program.

Master of Public Health - MPH

  • The Master of Public Health (MPH) professional training program is focused on improving managerial skills and practical experience.
  • MPH belongs to a specialized professional study, which is primarily intended for health professionals who are interested in expanding their knowledge and continuing their education, which can constantly improve the quality of health care provision.
  • The course contains an introduction, two main modules, which are divided into submodules with different subtopics on the main topic. Some submodules are interactive, which involves the student more in the overall issue. At the end of each submodule is a small final test to verify the acquired knowledge.
  • The MPH course is important to you - whether you are a doctor, a nurse or another health care provider, if you are a medical, public health or even a patient who simply makes sure that everyone gets the best health care.

Doctor of Public Health - DBA

  • The Doctor of Public Health (VAT) program is 3. degree and at the same time the last in the field of public health. It focuses on scientific study and comprehensive research in a selected area of public health.
  • This educational program requires a full-time form of study , which represents lecturer meetings of a minimum of 40 hours.
  • Successful graduates receive a diploma of successful completion of the educational program and the relevant professional title of MPH - Master of Public Health, which is listed after the name. After graduating from MPH, students are offered additional scientific studies of various specializations

Combined form

The study of MPH and other medical degrees takes place partly online and in person. The full-time form of study represents lecturer meetings lasting a minimum of 40 hours.

About the study of BPH, MPH and VAT

How will you study at ÚPPV

The study of public health is realized in the distance form – or a combination of the study itself and lectures and meetings.

The duration of the study is individual , it is determined by each student according to his workload. It is important that he / she fulfills all the conditions specified in the methodological instructions during the study, so that he / she can proceed to the final test and thus complete the study.

The ÚPPV teaches in Slovak, or in combination with the English language.

Application

Register. Then we will send you an application and a contract. Once completed, you will receive a study plan, scripts, individual modules and methodological instructions.

The study

You study online in combination with full-time form. You will meet the lecturer at a lecture or lecturer meeting for 40 hours of study.
2.

An exam

The study is completed by a final exam and a final thesis connected with the defense.
3.

MPH title

At the end, you will receive a diploma of successful completion of the program and the relevant professional degree.
