Bachelor of Arts - BA
- The Bachelor of Arts (BA) is an independent educational program in the field of SOCIAL SCIENCES.
- The BA study is compulsory as a prelude to the MA study for high school, postgraduate or university graduates.
- It is not conditioned by the university education achieved so far. This stage can be replaced by min. 3 years of experience in the field of social sciences.
Master of Arts - MA
- The Master of Arts (MA) professional education program is intended for BA graduate education module graduates who have decided to continue in the next stage of the Social Science education program.
- The MA is also intended for those whose study the BA module replaces min. 3 years of experience in the field of social sciences.
- The Master of Arts is designed to enable participants to supplement their education, knowledge, skills and competences in the thematic areas of the social sciences, in particular social work.
Doctor of Arts - DA
- The DA (Doctor of Arts) program is designed for MA graduates
- DA is focused on higher education, and thus areas of social science that have not been taught in previous modules.
- Its main content is the doctoral thesis, procedure and methodical instructions for its creation and also defense.

Who is it for?
The SOCIAL SKILLS educational program is intended for applicants with a high school diploma, as well as university-educated applicants.
The program is characterized by a practical and theoretical focus with an emphasis on the reflection of current social diagnoses and the state of therapy of individual social groups .
Furthermore, the SOCIAL SKILLS program diagnostically focuses on the state of provided social measures and services of groups and individuals in our society.
It draws information from various expert findings, assessments, statistics and decisions of power and ordinary spheres of social life. The program is also focused on identifying and gaining knowledge about group and individual strategies of social life.

How will you study at ÚPPV
The study of social skills is carried out in a distance form – or a combination of self-study and lectures and meetings.
The duration of the study is individual , it is determined by each student according to his workload. It is important that he / she fulfills all the conditions specified in the methodological instructions during the study, so that he / she can proceed to the final test and thus complete the study.
The ÚPPV teaches in Slovak, or in combination with the English language.
